It is our purpose to promote good
sportsmanship, while providing a safe environment for all participants. With
this said the following policy will be strictly enforced.
- If you
leave school early for any reason and will be tardy or absent from practice, you MUST inform Mrs. Kenny
- Unexcused
tardiness to practice could result in being benched for the next game.
- Unexcused
tardiness to pre-game will result in being benched for the “Hello Cheer” (you must be on the track with
the squad at the assigned time, not in the stands, parking lot, restroom, concession stand, walking up, etc…)
- Unexcused
missed practice could lead to being benched for that week’s game
- Failure
to notify a coach of absence from game could lead to being benched for the next game
- Unexcused
tardy after game intermission will lead to being benched for the 3rd quarter of the game
- Unexcused
early dismissal from a game or practice could result in being benched at the next game.
The dismissal must be approved in advance by the coach. Approved dismissals
will be at the discretion of the coach.
- Inappropriate
clothes/jewelry could lead to being dismissed from practice or game
- Inappropriate
language at practice or game could lead to suspension from squad
- Use of
cell phone without permission from coach during practice or game will result in being dismissed from practice or game (this
includes breaks as well)
- Not on
task while at practice or game could result in being benched for the next game.
- Inappropriate
behavior during school whether in class, halls, lunch, etc… could lead to being benched or suspended from squad
- Rude or
disrespectful behavior towards another cheerleader and/or coach could lead to suspension from the squad
- Failure
to attend ALL practices the week of homecoming could result in not participating in the homecoming
pep rally.
- However,
extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration at the coach’s discretion !!!
*Certain infractions could lead to
immediate suspension from the squad!
**Inappropriate behavior outside
of school reflects poorly on the entire squad. Remember that you are a role model
at all times.
